Davis and Birch worked together with ISG Retail and S&Co to insert a high end retail Accessories Hall into the heart of the existing Ground Floor at Selfridges Flagship Store on Oxford St London. The space was created with no interruption to everyday trade or adjacent outlets.
The ground floor space was converted from the old Loading Bay Ramp and the Lower Ground Floor Plantroom was built within the existing Loading Bay.
The Mechanical Services installation consisted of 2No New Purposed Build Flat Packed AHUs and a Fresh Air Unit to serve the whole space.
Temperature Control via Live Hot Taps into the Existing Chilled Water and LPHW Infrastructure to serve New coils within the AHUs. A Large New Ducted network of Supply Air Ductwork was installed neatly behind shopfit displays to serve New Ceiling Mounted Diffusers offering maximum temperature comfort to the space.
Our package also included all associated BMS Management and Full Commissioning and Demonstration in line with Selfridges Strict Requirements.
